Receptionist cum Administration Assistant
Position:
HEI is currently looking for a warm-hearted and energetic Receptionist cum Admin Assistant with the following responsibilities
A. Manage visitors and phone calls courteously
B. Careful and quick with documentation and recording
C. Manage petty cash and payments
D. Assist the Administrator in carrying out administrative responsibilities and tasks, including supervision of cleaning, repair and upkeep of the Community Centre
Qualification and criteria:
1. Malaysian or Permanent Resident or Spouse of a Malaysian on a spouse visa
2. Has relevant Administrative, Secretarial or Bookkeeping training and qualifications (Provide details)
3. Courteous, helpful personality who proactively relates well to visitors in a multi-ethnic or multicultural environment
4. Able to communicate clearly and calmly
5. Familiar with MS Word, and basic Excel
6. Careful with documentation and data entry
7. Good communicative ability in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and any other languages will be an advantage

Mental Health Services Coordinator
Position:
HEI is currently looking to recruit a Mental Health Services Coordinator with the following roles and responsibilities:
- Coordination and oversight of patient management with the clinics and the intervention services, including systems of assessments, case management, treatment adherence and referrrals
- Monitoring and Evaluation: ensure and monitor the adherence by team members to policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines developed for the Mental Health Services.
- Institution Building: develop, monitor and evaluate the systems needed for implementation of the Mental Health Services, identifying gaps and implementing improvements
- Documentation and reporting: prepraing reports for funding agencies, and having oversight of documentation of team members and adherence to doucmentation processes
Qualifications and criteria:
- Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Nursing or Social Work
- A Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Good command of spoken and written English,
- Passion for community work, professional and able to work in and lead a team

Medical Volunteer
Position:
HEI is currently looking to recruit a paid Medical Volunteer with the following roles and responsibilities:
- Psychiatric and physical health assessments
- Supporting treatment of patients within a multi-disciplinary team and facilitating referrals for further treatment interventions
- Assisting in the running of HEI’s clinics, assiting with hospital visits, and conducting home visits
- Patient education, especially psychoeducation
- Documentation as per protocol and timely reporting
- Supporting the development of training modules and conducting training on health, pharmacology, and mental health if required
Qualifications and criteria:
- Recognised Degree in Medicine
- A Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Good command of English
- Passion for community work, professional, and able to work in a team.

Psychosocial Support Officer (PSSO)
Position:
HEI is currently looking to recruit a Psychosocial Support Officer (PSSO) with the following roles and responsibilities:
- Providing psychosocial support to patients to meet their needs with regard to access to healthcare, education for children, or livelihood opportunities
- To ensure the smooth integration of case management services in the overall treatment and care plan of the patient
- To liaise with external parties or partners in facilitating access to resources to meet these needs
- To participate in community outreach activities
- To work along with the HEI team in providing capacity building training to the community
- To maintain timely and systematic documentation of organizational activities undertaken
Qualifications and Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- A Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Possess a passion to serve the marginalized
- Passion for community work, professional and able to work in a team
