HEI is currently recruiting a PsychoSocial Support Officer. This position has the following roles and with them, the tasks that are required to perform the roles:

  1. The role of patient management at the community center, in the community, at healthcare facilities and all other facilities Includes the following tasks:
  • Co-ordinating with relevant team members and other stakeholders in their access to healthcare facilities and provide support for the refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia according to the policies and protocols set by the organization
  • Co-ordinating with relevant team members and other stakeholders in any other areas and such other tasks that are related to expanding the protection space in making referrals for protection and services according to the policies and protocols set out by the organization
  • Supporting the mental health clinics and ensuring the dissemination of information arising from the mental health clinics
  • Conducting home visits to assess the needs of patients who require psychosocial interventions
  • Preparing documentation and of reports of patients
  • Maintaining a directory of the available referrals of service providers

2. The role of capacity building includes the following tasks:

  • Conducting training sessions where necessary
  • Supporting the development of organizational guidelines
  • Attending internal and external training sessions towards your continuous professional development. In opportunities where you attend external training sessions on behalf of the organization, you are to transfer the knowledge towards collectively building the capacities of the team

3. The role of organizational representation includes the following tasks:

  • Attending external meetings and training sessions where necessary
  • Providing documentation of your participation at these sessions
  • Supporting community outreach sessions when necessary

Recruitment for Part-Time Physiotherapist

HEI is currently recruiting a Physiotherapist to support patients’ need for multi-disciplinary interventions. This position includes the following tasks:

  1. Conducting assessments, providing required treatment and documenting treatment of patients
  2. Ensuring that patients’ treatment and interventions are documented are regularly updated
  3. Providing monthly reports of patients’ progress and patient load

Requirements

Recruitment for Pharmacist

HEI is currently recruiting a Pharmacist to maintain the dispensary. This position has the following roles and with them, the tasks that are required to perform the roles:

  1. Maintaining the dispensary has the following tasks:
  • Preparing and maintaining an inventory of medication, which includes stock movement information and forecast needs
  • Ensuring proper storage of the medication
  • Supporting the nurse in the dispensing and distribution of medication where necessary
  • Procuring medication

2. The role of pharmaco-education has the following tasks:

  • Developing educational materials for the patients
  • Proving patients education about the medications that they have been prescribed
  • Training of HEI team members on the medication

3. The role of treatment adherence support has the following tasks:

  • Developing guidelines, protocols and monitoring processes for the treatment adherence support program
  • Implementing the treatment adherence program together with the multi-dimensional service provision HEI team

4. The role of institutional building has the following tasks:

  • Supporting the development of the database system
  • Providing content input on the development of guidelines for the dispensing, and inventory of medication
  • Ensuring the development of necessary processes and forms for the monitoring of the patient’s medication
  • Ensuring the development of necessary processes and forms for the monitoring of the inventory

Recruitment for Clinical Psychologist

HEI is currently recruiting a Clinical Psychologist. This position has the following roles and with them, the tasks that are required to perform the roles:

  1. Working closely with the Psychiatrists, Counselors, Case Officers, Care and Support Unit and Community Health Workers in providing follow up mental health care for HEI’s clients at the community centre or/and at the community.
  2. Making the necessary internal and external referrals for the clients towards their recovery and rehabilitation.
  3. Preparing reports of clients and providing a monthly summary of reports for the mental health services database.
  4. Participating and conducting internal and external training where necessary

Recruitment for Patient Liaison Officer

HEI is currently recruiting a Patient Liaison Officer.

The role of patient management has the responsibilities of

  1. Coordinating the assignment of patients to the mental health services team in accordance to the patient’s treatment plan
  2. Monitoring the implementation of the patient’s interventions
  3. Monitoring the implementation of the patient’s assessment and progress measurement tools
  4. Ensuring the timeliness in the documentation of the patient’s measurement tools

The role of treatment adherence support has the responsibilities of

  1. Liaison with the Clinical Psychologists in the preparation of psychiatric referral letters
  2. Liaison with the Clinical Psychologists / Counsellor / Mental Health Services Administrator / volunteer Community Health Workers for the patients in managing the patient’s adherence which includes, but not limited to scheduling of consultations; monitoring of refill
  3. Facilitating the patient’s transportation subsidy and/or services to ensure adherence to treatment with the support of the Clinical Psychologists / Counsellor
  4. Monitoring the patient’s access to the transportation subsidy and/or services

The role of reporting has the responsibilities of

  1. Reporting trends, issues and solutions to the Mental Health Services Coordinator
  2. Liaison with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in the provision of data in the production of the monthly reports

The role of organizational representation has the responsibilities of

  1. Supporting community outreaches when necessary
